Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter and youngest child of Richard McCormick. She was born August 5th, 1956 in Woodland Hills California. The mother of the child was home and was also a mom. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick began performing and singing at a very young age. When she was just six years old, old, she won an award in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency called to ask her if she'd be interested in entering show business. McCormick had her first significant role when she got a part as a television character in the 1964 commercial of Mattels latest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. The commercial was re-run in 1964, for Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was cast as the leading character on The Wind It up and It is Broken, a show in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the part of the youngest daughter of the trio of towheaded girls on The Brady Bunch. The show featured Florence Henderson, Robert Reed as well as a brand new family. The show ran for 5 seasons. McCormick disclosed her story in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity with Barry Williams during the five-year run of the show. He was just 19. She was 16. It was likely that we would have a romantic relationship, said she. The timing, however, wasn't right.
